This past weekend was one of the first weekends I've had off from shooting weddings in about 8 weeks. Although I extremely grateful for how busy I've been, I'm also exhausted and am excited to begin blogging all my new images.
In Early September I got the chance to assist Kat from Katherine Elizabeth Photography with her amazing couple, Emily and Ryan, in Catonsville. Kat was one of the first people I became friends with in Maryland. We actually met over coffee, and that's how I knew we'd get along, haha. I'm so thankful for the opportunities she's given me as her second shooter. This will be the first of FOUR weddings I've shot with her over the last few months. Let the fun, celebrating, and images begin!
Emily and Ryan exchanged vows on September 3, 2016 at the beautiful and serene Bon Secours Retreat Center in Marriottsville. This was a drive for me all the way from Gaithersburg, but so well worth it. Bon Secours is quite the sight and I'd be honored to shoot there again as a primary photographer.
Vows were exchanged and a covenant ceremony concluded with Ryan and Emily becoming husband and wife. We quickly shot family formals so the bride and groom could get to their reception at Rolling Road Golf Club.
The night flew by and I know it's because we had WAY too much fun (and cake!). Its always a pleasure to work with new friends and talented people in the wedding industry.
